How It's Made

Notice***  I've gotten several emails asking me to show how some things are made. particularly pool tables and billiard balls.  I think these folks are referring to this page, but I don't get email addresses or anyway to contact them.  I have no relationship with this program.  I wish I did.  I'd love to see how they make televisions now.  I just found the show one night when I couldn't sleep and thought you all might like it.  Go to the link below and contact them OK?  I'm sure they would love to get your suggestions.  ***

Ever wonder how Recliners are made, skateboards or vinyl records?  Do you want to know why bagels are only cut part way through the bagel?  Did you know there were two different way to make those large concrete pipes. Would you like to see a twinkie get stuffed? (That one made me hungry)

I spent way too much time doing just that.  I never did get around to doing the dishes.

You can see all this on the discovery channel or the science channel if you have access to satellite TV or cable. The show is called How It's Made. I watch it really late at night when I can't sleep but it's on in the daytime too.  The first one comes on at 8 am central time. I am watching one now (Ok Ok I'm multitasking) and it is so cool.

Not sure you will like the one that's on that day.  You can get the listing times and a summary of each episode on the science channel web site

Here are the listings   for the Discovery Channel  which also hosts the program
