Thanksgiving fun

My kids made these when they were in school.   They are pretty easy if Mom helps
Supplies
Construction Paper in Fall Colors
Scissors
Glue
Black Crayon or Marker

Instructions

  1. Take off your shoe and trace around it on brown paper. 
  2. Cut out. 
  3. Trace around your hand a total of five times on yellow, orange and red paper.   (if you want a fuller looking turkey make more hands)
  4. Glue the hand cut outs behind the shoe cut out. 
  5. Cut out a triangle shape for a beak in orange paper. 
  6. Glue in place. 
  7. Cut out a 1" circle on yellow paper. Cut it in half for feet. Glue in place.

Another craft idea I saw as I was wandering around the web.  You can make a turkey out of a pine cone, google eyes and colorful pipe cleaners.
